Tooth whitening can be done in one of two ways: in-office or at-home with bleaching trays. Both of these methods are done under our dentist’s supervision to reduce chances of negative side effects.

The “home” technique involves making custom trays which fit into the mouth. The trays are then filled with a gel bleaching material. After brushing your teeth, the trays will be worn between 1 and 2 hours a day for about two weeks. Noticeable results are seen generally within a few days. You might notice sensitivity to hot and cold during the treatment. This sensation will resolve after the completion of treatment. We recommend using some desentisizing toothpaste during the few weeks of your treatment.
